That’s a profound statement by one of America’s past presidents.
I know there are times in life when we get stumped with which decision to make especially if there are a lot of choices to pick from.
Let me see if I can help you with picking an affiliate product to promote…
When choosing an affiliate product to promote think about the products that you already are using.
Are you able to promote it as an affiliate?
That’s the best place to start because you believe in the product already and your passion will come through in your marketing.
Do you have a favorite software or a favorite hosting company?
Are there any products that you use that have an affiliate opportunity to share with your audience?
Be completely transparent with your audience make sure you have extreme confidence in the products that you’re going to promote.
Make sure that you use them or you have bought them or at least have gone through the whole product before you recommend them.
At the end of the day you want to be in good standing with your audience, you don’t want to promote a product to your audience that is a garbage product.
Tell them that if they take you up on the recommendation & buy the product you’re going to make a commission…
That’s just good business and people will appreciate it.
Make sure that the products that you promote are going to resonate with your audience.
One way to do this is to send out questions or a poll to your email list or your Twitter or or Facebook accounts.
Find out what the pain points are of your audience.
In the online marketing niche many people use Warrior+ and JVZoo to find affiliate products to promote.
There are many products that you can find to promote that are very good, these platforms are my two favorites.
When searching on these platforms for a a very good affiliate offer check out the top influencers in your niche.
What are they selling or have sold recently?
How many copies have they sold and how long ago did they did they launch the product?
How much money can you make on promoting their products through the funnel?
But really it’s not about you, it’s about your audience…
Put the customer first and make sure that in the end your customer is going to be happy with the products that you promote.
Your audience is the most valuable asset that you have online as a marketer.
If you constantly promote great products that give great customer service then they will continue to buy from you.
The types of products that I like to promote are ones that have recurring income…
Software and membership sites are two of the best in my opinion.
People that buy will have to pay a monthly fee in order to keep using the software or membership site.
This will provide you passive income which is great because as an online marketer it takes some of the pressure off of having to constantly be selling something in order to make money everyday.
Focus on recurring income products if at all possible like software & membership sites.
These two types of products will provide you with passive income coming in…
You do the work once and then get paid for the whole time they use the software or membership site…every month.
To break it down, find out what your audience wants and then find products that will meet their needs.
Make sure that the products are great and then promote them, recurring income products work great because you get paid every month your customer uses them
