Issue #7 – Monday, March 16, 2026
Hi %%SubscriberFirstName%%,
### Don’t burn it down just because it’s quiet
Once your asset, traffic, and follow‑ups are in
motion, there’s a dangerous urge that kicks in:
“This isn’t exploding yet. I should probably
change everything.”
That’s like a ninja abandoning a good position
because the first strike didn’t end the fight.
Most of the time, you don’t need a new system.
You just need a few **small, smart adjustments**.
### Start with the weakest link
Think of your setup as a simple chain:
Traffic → Asset → Follow‑up → Next step
Instead of guessing, ask:
– Are people even **seeing** the asset?
– Are they **taking it** when they see it?
– Are they **opening** your follow‑ups?
– Are they **responding** to your next step?
Find the first place where things noticeably
“drop off.” That’s your weak link. That’s where
you adjust.
No need to fix what’s already working.
### Three tiny tweaks that move a lot
Here are three low‑stress tweaks you can make,
one at a time:
1) Sharpen the promise
– If views are there but signups are low, your
promise might be vague.
– Make it more specific: “Avoid [pain] in 10
minutes” beats “Improve your marketing.”
2) Shorten the copy
– If people click but don’t stick around,
your page or email may be too long.
– Cut intro fluff. Lead with the result and
the next step.
3) Add one clear question
– If opens are fine but replies are dead, end
an email with one simple question:
“What’s the hardest part of this for you
right now?”
– One or two real replies give you gold for
future tweaks.
Pick one tweak. Apply it. Watch what happens
for a few days before touching anything else.
### One small move for this week
Here’s your assignment:
1) Look at your simple “mission log” from last
week.
2) Choose **one link** in your chain to inspect:
Traffic, Asset, Follow‑up, or Next step.
3) Make **one** small, clear adjustment in that
spot only. Examples:
– Rewrite your asset promise in one sentence.
– Move the link higher in your traffic
message.
– Shorten your follow‑up email by 25%.
– Add a single question at the end.
Then let it run.
Think like a ninja in the dark: make a quiet
change, observe the result, then decide on the
next move. No panic. No all‑or‑nothing resets.
### What’s coming next
In the next issue, we’ll talk about how to
**protect your motivation** when progress feels
slow on the surface—and how to see the deeper
skills you’re building while the numbers are
still catching up.
