Issue #18 – Tuesday, March 31, 2026
Hi %%SubscriberFirstName%%,
### Your newsletter works better in seasons
Most people plan their emails one week at
a time, in a mild panic.
“What am I sending *this* week?”
That’s how you end up feeling scattered
and reactive.
A calmer way is to think in **seasons**:
short stretches of time where your content
and offers share one main theme.
### Give each season one clear focus
Instead of trying to talk about
everything, all the time, pick one focus
for each “season” (maybe 4–12 weeks).
For example:
– Season: “Foundation and calm systems”
– Season: “Traffic and visibility”
– Season: “Offers and follow‑up”
During that season, most of your stories,
lessons, and tiny moves point in that
same direction.
You’re still flexible, but there’s a
clear spine.
### Let your offers ride on the season
Once you know the theme, your offers
become easier and more natural.
If your season is about “foundation and
systems,” your offers might be:
– A simple planning or setup product
– A low‑stress implementation session
– A checklist or mini‑course that fits
the theme
You’re not bolting random promotions onto
your emails.
You’re inviting people deeper into the
same direction you’ve been helping them
move toward.
### One small move for this week
Here’s your assignment:
1) Look at the next 4–8 weeks and pick
**one main theme** you want your
newsletter to lean into.
2) Write one simple line for yourself:
“This season is about helping people
with ________.”
3) When you plan your next few emails,
ask:
“Does this topic support that
season line, even in a small way?”
You’re giving your readers (and yourself)
a sense of direction, not just a pile of
topics.
### What’s coming next
In the next issue, we’ll talk about how
to **restart gracefully** when you’ve
missed a few sends — so a gap doesn’t
turn into disappearing for months.
