### Your attention is more valuable than your time
Most people try to “manage their time” and still
end up scattered.
The real bottleneck isn’t hours. It’s attention.
You can have a free afternoon and still get
nothing meaningful done if your focus is sliced
into tiny pieces.
Think of your attention like money in a small
envelope. Once it’s spent, it’s gone for the day.
### Decide what actually deserves your best focus
Not every task is worth your highest-quality
attention.
Ask yourself:
– “Which 1–3 activities actually move my
online income forward?”
– “What do I do that, when I do it, improves
everything else later?”
For a lot of people, that list looks like:
– Making offers or improving an offer
– Driving focused traffic
– Following up (email, messages, content that
deepens trust)
Everything else is support, not the main event.
### Protect a small “attention window” for deep work
You don’t need eight perfect hours. You need one
clean window where your attention isn’t being
chewed up.
Pick a consistent block (even 30–60 minutes) and
treat it like an appointment:
– No notifications.
– No tabs you don’t need.
– One clear target for that block.
Example:
– Today’s attention window:
“Write and send one email that makes or
sets up an offer.”
When the window opens, you already know what the
attention is for.
### One small move for this week
Here’s your assignment:
1) List your top **3 “high‑return” activities** for
your online income (the ones that really move
the needle).
2) Block **one attention window** (30–60 minutes)
in the next 72 hours.
3) When that window starts, pick just **one** of
those high‑return activities and do *only that*
until the window ends.
You’re training your brain that this time is
where important things happen, not where you
catch up on noise.
### What’s coming next
In the next issue, we’ll talk about how to **build
trust in quiet ways**—so people start to feel like
they know you and your approach long before you
ever ask them to buy anything.
