### How simple can you make this?
Let’s say you want to keep
sending without burning out.
You don’t need the most
advanced tools or the
perfected calendar.
You need a **light system**
you actually like enough to
use on a tired Tuesday.
Something small that holds
you up, instead of something
big you feel guilty about
ignoring.
### Keep the *bones* and relax the rest
Here’s a question to sit
with:
“If I stripped this newsletter
down to the minimum structure
that keeps it alive, what
would I keep?”
Most of the time, it’s just:
– a predictable *cadence*
(weekly, twice‑monthly, or
monthly),
– an idea bucket you add to
as you live your life,
– one simple frame you reuse
(story → lesson → small
move).
You can let almost everything
else be loose.
Design, length, “perfect”
timing — all optional.
### Use a 3‑block writing template
When you sit down to write,
you don’t have to invent the
shape of the email every
time.
Try this 3‑block template:
1) A short opening about
what you’re noticing or
feeling this week.
2) One clear idea or lesson,
tied to your current
“season” theme.
3) One small move or question
for the reader to take
into their week.
Same basic spine, new content
each time.
Your brain has fewer
decisions to make, which
means you’re more likely to
actually hit send.
### One small move for this week
Here’s your assignment:
1) Decide your *light*
minimum cadence for the
next month:
– weekly,
– every other week, or
– once a month.
2) Write your own tiny
template:
“Every issue will have:
[opening] → [idea] → [tiny
action or question].”
3) Put **just four send dates**
on your calendar that match
that cadence, and treat
them as appointments with
your future self.
For now, that’s enough.
You’ll be surprised how far a
simple, repeatable shape can
take you when you give
yourself permission to keep
it light.
