Tiny prompts for a clearer Season 2

Issue #48 – Friday, May 15, 2026

### When you don’t know what’s next

Even with a “season” theme
and a light system, you’ll
have weeks where you’re not
quite sure what to say.

You don’t need a huge
strategy session.

BMore Review

Sometimes you just need a
few better questions.

Treat this issue like a tiny
check‑in you can come back
to every month.

### Five prompts for your next stretch

Here are five questions you
can answer in a notebook, a
note app, or even in a reply
to this email:

1) “What felt surprisingly
good about how I showed up
in my work and life this
past month?”
2) “What currently feels
heavier or more
complicated than it needs
to be?”
3) “If I could secretly drop
one obligation for 30 days,
what would it be?”
4) “What do my readers or
clients keep asking about
lately?”
5) “If this newsletter helped
one person do *one* thing
differently in the next 4
weeks, what would I love
that to be?”

You don’t have to share
these with anyone.

They’re just there to help
you see what’s already
true.

### Turn answers into issues

Once you’ve answered, look
back through your notes and
underline or bold anything
that:

– makes you exhale,
– makes you a little annoyed
(in a good “ugh, that’s it”
way),
– shows up more than once.

Each of those is a seed for
an issue:

– “What felt surprisingly
good?” can become a story
about small wins.
– “What feels too heavy?”
can become an email about
simplification.
– Repeating reader questions
can become a mini Q&A or
a short series.

Your own honest answers are
a better content engine than
any generic idea list.

### One small move for this week

Here’s your assignment:

1) Pick **just two** of the
prompts above and answer
them quickly — no editing,
5–10 minutes total.

2) Circle or highlight **one
sentence** from your
answers that hits you the
hardest.

3) Use that sentence as the
working title or opening
line for your next issue.

You’re not starting from a
blank page.

You’re starting from your
own life, which is much more
interesting anyway.
